The Class of 1953 is in the initial stages of planning its 55th year reunion. The reunion will be held during the Blossom Time weekend, and we will be in touch with classmates as plans develop. Class of 1958-- The 50 year reunion for the Class of 1958 will be Friday, October 3rd through Sunday, October 5th. The organizing committee will meet the first week of May to plan activities for the weekend. We hope to have information packages sent out to all class members in early June. Members of the committee so far are: Doug Williams, Sallie Kuhnle, Bill Reitz, Sue Harrison, Kathy Sindelar, Bill Stearns, and Jim Fitz. The Class of 1968 will be having their 40-year reunion during Blossom Time weekend. The main event will be Saturday night at the Chagrin Valley Country Club. They will also have a table at the all class reunion on Friday. If anyone would like a float for the parade etc start finding folks to make it happen! CFHS Class of 1978 is holding their 30 year class reunion Memorial Day weekend 2008. The weekend will start off Friday with the Alumni All Class Reunion at Township Hall. In the year 1983 Cheers won the Emmy for outstanding Comedy Series along with Judd Hirsch in Taxi and Shelly Long in Cheers for lead actor and lead actress in a comedy series.. Also notable for 1983 “Crack” cocaine is developed in the Bahamas and soon appears in the United States. What do you remember most about that year so long ago?

Class of 1984 – Yes, it’s true! We are all turning 42 together in 2008! That means 24 years has elapsed since we were victims or perpetrators of “locker set ups”, making crude drawings on locker tags, passing notes in class, donning fashionable Tiger Gym Wear for Marty Dworak, Don Wem, and Dave Quisenberry, understanding that huge choices were ahead of us while we were preparing to be the Kings of Chagrin Falls High School. Our Junior Year was quickly coming to a close.
We all now understand our parents when they said “Time goes by faster and faster as you get older.” That’s why we are writing to you a full year in advance of the Big 25th Reunion of the “CFHS Greatest Class of All Time” (source: Greg Gamm, circa 1988). This year will pass quickly. Thanks to technology, we are able to plan more efficiently and communicate quickly – but only if we know your current information. Of course, save Memorial Day Weekend of 2009 as the Reunion Date.
Right now, we are asking just 2 things from each of you in the Class of 1984 – your contact information and suggestions of what you’d like to do for our 25th Reunion! The date is fast approaching for the Class of 1988 20-Year Reunion over Blossom Weekend. The first event will be a gathering for drinks and appetizers on Friday night at Trifles. The main event will be at Pine Lake Trout Club on the Saturday evening. The weekend will finish with a pre-parade picnic on Sunday at the Florkiewicz home. The Reunion Committee has much in store for making this the most memorable reunion yet. The Class of 1998 will hold their 10 Year Reunion on Saturday at 6 p.m., May 24, 2008 at the Hunt Club on E. Washington Street. On Sunday, we will be hosting a Parade Picnic at a private residence on the parade route. Appetizers will be provided along with a cash bar on the Saturday event.
