"Chagrin Falls…Standing Still in Time."
In 1995 the CFAA released limited edition prints of "The Falls", the first in the series "Chagrin Falls…Standing Still in Time," by joAnne deHamel '69. JoAnne completed the series in 2001 with "the Bandstand," "The Old Town Hall," and "The Popcorn Shop." In 2002, by popular demand, she painted another rendition of the falls entitled, "The Falls, II." These prints are available through the Alumni Association with proceeds going to the Alumni Scholarship Fund and the enhancement of the Chagrin Falls Schools’ Historical Preservation Room at the high school. These vibrant, limited edition watercolor prints of Chagrin’s most noted landmarks are numbered and signed by the artist and are suited for a standard 8" x 10" frame. For your convenience, they are also available double matted and framed with your choice of:
1) Cherry finished wood frame, cream over dark green double mat
2) Black painted wood frame, white over black double mat
3) Honey oak wood frame, dark green over cream double mat
All shipped, framed art will utilize Plexiglas for safer transport. Unframed prints are $20 each or 3 (one of each print) for $50, plus $5 shipping and handling per shipment (up to 18 prints per shipment). Framed prints are $60 each, plus $10 shipping and handling (up to 3 framed prints per shipment.)
"Memories"
“Memories,” a needlepoint design pattern by Ed Kagy ’48, is now available. The composite of school and village scenes measures 7 1Ž4” x 9 1Ž4” and uses 13 colors. Package includes full color pattern, instruction and numeral patterns for your graduation year. Yarn is not included. Pattern may be cross-stitch as well. The cost is $15.50.
"The Backyard Sky" and "Cornbread and Rum"
Tina Shafer's CD, "The Backyard Sky" and Lea Coryell's CD, "Cornbread and Rum," can be purchased through the Alumni Office. The cost is $15.00 for each and $2.00 for shipping. If purchasing both CDs, then the total shipping cost is $3.00.
For Rent
Need a tent for a party & help your Alumni Association at the same time? Then consider renting the Alumni tent(s) for your next party. We have a white 18' by 30' white tent and a beige 10' by 20'. Both have side and end walls. If interested, then please contact the CFAA office. We would also like to thank the Classes of 2002 & 2003 for their generous donations of these tents. (Pictured below is the 18' by 30' tent.)
